Slovenia and Austria from Group A were the first to battle on the court. The first quarter was a slow-paced game, with the score only reaching 8:5 in favour of Austria. However, the second quarter heated up: Slovenia first tied the score at 16:16 and then took the lead with a key three-pointer. The first half ended at 31:19, with the host country in the lead. Slovenia only extended their advantage in the second half, and the game finished with a final score of 61:39. The most efficient player was Zarja Božič, who had seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists, for an efficiency rating of 16.

Poland played against Romania in the second game of the day for Group B. Poland took the lead with a three-pointer in the opening seconds, and the first half ended with a commanding 58:21 lead. With well-executed plays, Poland reached 100 points with five minutes left, and the final score was 113:34. With this convincing win, Poland is moving on to the semi-finals. The most efficient player was Weronika Wietek, who finished with an impressive 21 points, eight rebounds, and an efficiency rating of 21.

Group A continued with Bulgaria and Slovakia fighting for the win. In the first few minutes, the teams were evening each other out, but towards the end of the first quarter, Bulgaria took the lead, ending the first half at 32:23. Slovakia fought hard, but it wasn’t enough. The final score was 70:55. Both teams are heading into battle for fifth place. The most efficient player was Teodora Marinova with 13 points and nine rebounds, giving her an efficiency rate of 18.

The day finished with a game between Croatia and Hungary from Group B. Hungary quickly took the lead and didn't let go, with halftime ending at 37:30. While both teams clearly wanted the win, Hungary ultimately proved to be better. The final score of 50:64 resulted in a Hungarian victory, though both teams are advancing to the semi-finals. The most efficient player was Virag Varkoly, who had eight points and eight rebounds, for an efficiency rating of 15.
