
U14 I Feel Slovenia Ball for Boys 2025 has finished. The final day in Slovenj Gradec was filled with outstanding basketball talent, passion and strength for some unforgettable moments. And with this, the 2025 addition of U14 I Feel Slovenia Ball has officially come to an end.
For the first game of the final day, Austria and Bulgaria fought for seventh place. The first quarter was slightly in Austria’s favor at 19:18. By halftime their lead had grown to 40:36. For the rest of the game, both teams stayed consistent, but Austria held on and earned their first-ever win at this tournament with the final score of 88:82, securing seventh place. The most efficient player was Caolin Bannert with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists for an efficiency rating of 19.
After yesterday’s exciting wins, Slovakia and Romania battled for fifth place. Romania quickly took control of the game, finishing the first quarter at 27:14. In the second quarter, Slovakia focused, evened the score, and later stole the lead at 46:36. The second half was even more intense, with Romania fighting back for the win but losing concentration in the closing minutes. Slovakia held on to their lead and secured fifth place with an 86:79 victory. The most efficient player was Nikolaj Lukjanec with 16 points, four rebounds, and seven assists for an efficiency rating of 21.
Finally, it was time to dim the main lights in Sports Hall Slovenj Gradec and open the light show as Hungary and Poland stepped onto the court. It was time to fight for bronze. Hungary opened the game dominantly, but soon Poland took control, finishing the first quarter at 27:14. In the second quarter, with strong play, Hungary closed the gap to 43:47, but not for long, as Poland pulled ahead in the third quarter and entered the final act with a 65:55 lead. From there, they stayed dominant, and bronze was in their hands with a final score of 88:72. The most efficient player was Adrian Szmit with 20 points, two rebounds, and five assists for an efficiency rating of 16.
After a thrilling matchup for bronze, there were only two more kinds of medals left to be awarded – silver and gold. Two countries that are neighbours, two teams that were opponents. As the ball went up in the air, Croatia and Slovenia were set to give their all. Both teams opened with a three-pointer, indicating a thrilling match. The host country led the first quarter by two points (21:19). Continuing, Croatia stole the lead with Slovenia falling behind at the end of the first half, 43:34. The third quarter belonged to Slovenia, who first evened the score and then took the lead, ending the quarter with a three-pointer for 60:51. Slovenia was leading until half a minute before the end, when Ivan Čošković hit a three-pointer. With the whole Sports Hall on their feet, Croatia became champions with the final result 74:73. The most efficient player was Ante Vujić with 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists for an efficiency rating of 20

Nikša Zlopaša also scored the most points in the tournament with a total of 104 points in five games, averaging 20.8 points per game. The prize for the highest number of rebounds in the tournament also went to Nikša Zlopaša, with 43 jumps and an average of 8.6 jumps per game. Slovenia's Jan Turković won the award for the best passer of the tournament with a total of 27 assists.
