The opening game was played between the national teams of Romania and Croatia. The Croatian team secured the first victory of the tournament with a final score of 71:102. The standout player of the game was Marko Volf from the Croatian team, who scored 12 points and made 4 assists and 6 rebounds with the efficiency of 28, leading his team to first victory in the tournament.
The second game of the day featured last year's champion, the Polish team, against Hungary. From the beginning, the Polish team dominated the court with their superior tactics and physicality, ending the game with a commanding high score of 144:32. Jerzy Jaskowiak emerged as the most effective player of the match, contributing 15 points, including 5 assists, 7 rebounds, efficiency 62, and displaying excellent teamwork and court vision.
The first day of competition was completed with a match between the home team Slovenia Blue and Slovakia.
