The 2026 U14 Slovenia Ball is fast approaching. During the first week of August, Slovenj Gradec will host talented young female basketball players from eight different European countries. For many future basketball stars, both girls and boys, Slovenia Ball represents their first experience of international competition.

The 20th edition of the U14 Slovenia Ball for Girls will officially tip off on Wednesday, August 5, and conclude on Sunday, August 9, when the tournament champions will be crowned. Eight national teams will compete including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and the host nation, Slovenia.

The defending champions are Hungary, who have claimed the gold medal for the past three consecutive editions. This year, the remaining seven teams will be looking to end Hungary's winning streak and lift the trophy.

All tournament games will be played at the Sports Hall Slovenj Gradec and streamed live on our YouTube channel.
